Fresh from his chart topping collaboration with Drake on Laugh Now Cry Later and his guest appearance on Nas’ Kings Disease. Lil Durk has dropped the prolific surprise track The Voice which is produced by TurnmeupJosh. Durk raps about the ups and downs that come with fame and success while staying true to the streets.
The music video was directed by CrownSoHeavy which shows Durk surrounded by cars and sitting in a private jet. One of his best bars on this track was “You lookin crazy know the trenches raised me/I’m Durkio, but I’m Chicago’s Jay-Z.
The single serves as the rappers first solo release since the deluxe edition of his album Just Cause Y’all Waited 2.
